Hi,

I got it to work, not sure how and what I did..
The installation that didn't work I erased the things in apache-karaf-3.0.0/data/cache/* and after that it started.

Thanks for the help..

Are you running Karaf as a service, perhaps as a different user? I don't think a proxy should be an issue. Those features are also bundled locally in the distribution aren't they?

I would delete your data directory and try again without the proxy setting. If you are worried about polluting you local repo with artifacts that didn't come through the proxy, then make a backup of you repository so you can restore it after the experiment.

I had a similar issue when I went from 3.0 RC1 to the latest snapshots. I can't remember for the life of me what it was.

    Hi Christian,

Can you show your proxy settings in ~/.m2/settings.xml.

Can you force the path to settings.xml in
    etc/org.ops4j.pax.url.mvn.cfg ?

You don't have the issue without the proxy ?

    Thanks

        Hi,

Have some problem to start karaf 3.0

A guess is that is has to do with the proxy.

In my ~/.m2/settings.xml I have specified the proxy.

I have verified that it works with apache-karaf-3.0.0.RC1

Is this a know issue? Or has something changed how the proxy is
specified between RC1 and the release?
