Hi This syntax is not supported in the command, only in the feature descriptor. However you can specify the range in the feature URL (but it won't work with Karaf 3) or a specific version in the install command.

Unfortunately looking at the installed features afterwards, version 4.0.5.RELEASE_1 is installed and there is no further log (on INFO) declaring any issues: karaf@root> features:list -i State Version Name Repository Description [installed ] [2.4.0 ] service-security karaf-2.4.0 Services Security for Karaf [installed ] [2.4.0 ] karaf-framework karaf-2.4.0 Karaf core feature [installed ] [2.4.0 ] aries-proxy karaf-2.4.0 Aries Proxy [installed ] [2.4.0 ] aries-blueprint karaf-2.4.0 Aries Blueprint [installed ] [2.4.0 ] features karaf-2.4.0 Karaf Features support [installed ] [2.4.0 ] admin karaf-2.4.0 Child instance administration [installed ] [2.4.0 ] diagnostic karaf-2.4.0 Diagnostic support [installed ] [2.4.0 ] shell karaf-2.4.0 Karaf Shell [installed ] [2.4.0 ] deployer karaf-2.4.0 Karaf Deployer [installed ] [2.4.0 ] config karaf-2.4.0 Provide OSGi ConfigAdmin support [installed ] [2.4.0 ] kar karaf-2.4.0 Provide KAR (KARaf archive) support [installed ] [2.4.0 ] jaas karaf-2.4.0 Provide JAAS support [installed ] [2.4.0 ] ssh karaf-2.4.0 Provide a SSHd server on Karaf [installed ] [2.4.0 ] management karaf-2.4.0 Provide a JMX MBeanServer and a set of MBeans in Karaf [installed ] [4.0.5.RELEASE_1] spring spring-2.4.0 Spring 4.0.x support Did I configure the "features:install" command incorrectly or is this a bug Thanks and Best Regards, Michael
