Hi Philip,
When you put a kar in the deploy folder, the kar installer deploy all
features containing in all features XML containing in the kar.
The only exception is when the kar MANIFEST entry "Karaf-Feature-Start"
is false, or the feature install attribute (in the features XML) is false.
How did you construct your kar ?
Did you change something in etc/org.apache.karaf.kar.cfg ?

I have a KAR file but its annoying that I must install a feature manually,
can the KAR file instruct Karaf to install the feature? or the OSGi JAR file
inside the KAR?
