Hi John,
We have two options there:
1. I can add the feature and required bundles
2. I proposed while ago to create uber bundle in camel-karaf for
component. It would simplify the component development (no feature
required anymore or very limited, as component will be a single bundle,
and easier in term of classloader) and don't require SMX bundles anymore.
I started a discussion on the camel mailing list. I can move forward
with PR.
