Hi Jochen, You can always install Jakarta bundles in Karaf. So, there is not real requirement to do new Karaf release, you can already support Jakarta namespace in Karaf (eventually blacklisting features/bundles providing javax namespace). We plan to update Karaf specs features repository to provide jakarta features.
