Also, If the Hackathon would be preceded by a presentation we can have a
introduction to using Lens and features at glance, creating cubes, typical
queries on Lens etc. This will be helpful for all the starters.
We can also have a sample data set that can be used by participants.

Lens meetup
Changed: We are planning for Apache Lens Hackathon on July 11th, with doors
open all day.
Some features that can be picked during hackathon :
- Support for new storages : HBase, Cassandra and etc.
- Support for new drivers : Spark SQL, Druid, Drill and etc.
- Improve query statistics and analytics on query stats : Come up with hot
datasets in your analytics
- Query Cost estimation : estimate execution time or resource usage or wait
time.
or anything that comes to your mind.
Looking forward for seeing you there.
Requesting all Lens committers to be around for helping out new contributors.
