hi Doug, i helped a bit, but i'm still not sure how it really works. can i override the module.xconf? for example i have a module in my template publication and i want to use different samples. i want to have one basic samle in the parent module and in one of the inherited publications i want to use 2 samples and in an other maybe 3 all of them with different names. i mean your help took me to the point where i'm able to override the menu.xsp for example. i'm using fallback://modules/modulename/config/menu.xsp. so if there is a menu.xsp in my publication it takes this and if there is no such menu it uses the one from the publication template. but this approach don't work with different sample sets, or do i miss something? btw do you know is there any docu about the fallback:// proto?
thanks very much simon Am Samstag, den 24.09.2005, 02:44 -0400 schrieb Doug Chestnut: > Hi Simon, > for samples, just be sure that your modules.xconf files refers to the > sample files using the fallback:// proto. > > If I understand your question, yes, it should work.
