Oh, I see. You want to publish the asset without actually providing a
link to it in the associated document. Well, as far as I know the
only way is to add the link, publish the document, then quickly remove
the link and re-publish the document. I think the asset will remain
published. But I don't have access to Lenya code at the moment to be
sure about that.

Another approach might be to publish a link to the zip file, but have
that link not visible to regular users, for example by using CSS
positioning to move it well off of the visible page. Spiders would
still find the link, though, if it's a public site.

Maybe one of the other readers has a better idea?

Hi,

I have uploaded the zip file as an asset to the document. i want to add
the zip file to the document with out adding the link, because the end
user should not know the link to the zip file. The requirement is to
transfer the zip file to the another server.

Thanks for your reply.

It isn't clear to me what you're asking. Have you uploaded the zip
file as an asset to to document? And then you want to create a link
in that document pointing to that zip file? If that's the question,
then the answer is that you edit the document's contents to create the
link, just like you would add a link to any other asset. The
particulars depend on the editor (Kupu, BXE, oneform, FCKeditor,
TinyMCE). Or maybe I'm misunderstanding the question?
