Hi

I was using the site tab to quickly publish all our example content - the result was some kind of inconsistency. The user I did the speedy publishing with has the rights to submit and to publish. I wish I could describe a reproducible procedure to get the error - but maybe the request log is a good source to write a canoo test?

Different nodes show now the following error messages

One node is displaying this message when clicking on «publish»:

Exception during commit or rollback: org.apache.lenya.cms.repository.RepositoryException: The node [node lenya://lenya/pubs/ourpub/content/live/sitetree.xml] is already checked out by another session! (see logfiles for details).

When clicking on «Deactivate or publish» other nodes show:

- Involved objects are checked out.

As far as I can tell, it is hard to recover from such errors (a jetty restart does not help).

Andreas: I know You are working on changes probably related to behaviour like the one described (concurrency); Are You interested in the log file of a session leading to such errors?

Jürgen
