AFAIK the export target hasn't been maintained for quite a while.
wget is a good alternative, I guess there are also Windows ports
available. Here's a command which works well for me:
wget --cut-dirs=2 -P html -nH -r -k -e robots=off \
http://localhost:8888/mypub/live/
