Hi All,

Train might take a little to long from the UK.

Which would be the best airport?
There are two airports near Bad Säckingen:

The best Airport is Basel (http://www.euroairport.com/EN/accueil.php)
There is a bus service form the Airport to the Basel SBB railway station, so you can reach Bad Säckingen in about 1 h.

The Zürich Airport (http://www.zurich-airport.com/desktopdefault.aspx) is also possible. You can reach Stein Säckingen by train in about 1:15 h

Rudolf

Thanks

Thanks,

I will ask to you hour of train when I know the date and the hour of my
train (will be approx 21h30 in Bassel). If there is an non-german
understandable site about this train line don't hesitate to send it.

I have two another questions :
1/ How much is the bassel to Bad/Stein Säckingen ticket ?
2/ When finish the meeting approx on the second day ? nearly 17H, 19H, 21H
?

Thanks for the pickup proposal

Hi

I would like to go to this meeting but it's not really sure for now.

I have two questions :

1/ From Paris, train go to Basel. How can I go to to Bad Säckingen ?
Here is an example by train to the station in Bad Säckingen.

Paris Est Mi, 20.05.09 ab 12:24 TGV 9215 TGV
Basel SBB Mi, 20.05.09 an 15:51 8

Basel SBB Mi, 20.05.09 ab 16:12 ICE 870
Basel Bad Bf Mi, 20.05.09 an 16:18 4

Basel Bad Bf Mi, 20.05.09 ab 16:43 7 IRE 3111
Interregio-Express
Bad Säckingen Mi, 20.05.09 an 17:00 1

Walking distace from the station to the hotel is about 10 Minutes

It's also possible to take this route to the station in Stein Säckingen
(the village on the swiss side):

Paris Est Mi, 20.05.09 ab 12:24 TGV 9215 TGV
Basel SBB Mi, 20.05.09 an 15:51 8

Basel SBB Mi, 20.05.09 ab 16:14 6 IR 1981
Stein-Säckingen Mi, 20.05.09 an 16:34 3

But the walking distace ist about 30 minutes to the hotel, or you have to
use a taxi.
If you take this route and I know when you're arriving, I'll pick you up
at
the station.
(I'm living in Bad Säckingen)

2/ How many euros it's cost (booking hotel + dinner + ??). I see a 120 euros 2 nights single room on booking.com, there is a lower price for
meeting's user ?
Here are the rates for participants:

one person, single room with breakfast: 55 Euro/night
two persons, double room with breakfast: 75 Euro/night
We can have dinner for approx. 11 Euro
The conference room ist free of charge, but drinks are not included.

I'm looking forward to see you in Bad Säckingen.

Rudolf

Thanks for organising this.

Dear Lenya users and developers,

I am very happy to announce that the next Apache Lenya user and
developer meeting will take place in Bad Säckingen, Germany, in the
week
from June 29 to July 3.

You find more information on the Wiki page:

http://wiki.apache.org/lenya/MeetingBadSaeckingen2009

If you can attend, please add a row to the date table so that we can decide on the exact date. If nobody objects, I'd suggest to limit the decision period to a week (until Sunday, 2009-05-24, 23:59 CET), so
that
there is enough time left for booking an accomodation after publishing
the official announcement.

Feel free to add the topics you'd like to discuss to the Wiki page. As
always, any talks and presentations are greatly appreciated.

The BeCompany provides a budget to support community members who want
to
give a talk, but are attending privately and have trouble financing
the
accommodation. Please contact us at contact(at)becompany.ch.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you in Bad Säckingen!
