Hi

I have succeed in doing so. I have just commented out the line from
build.xml and it worked. But I think this is not the proper way. If
anybody has any idea please let me know.

One possible solution might be to put the firedocs.xpi into the firedocs
module instead of downloading it.

isn't that a licensing problem?
Maybe the resources folder would be a
place for it. What do you think about it ? Does anyone else have any
further comments ?

generally speaking I think Lenya should introduce a "maven" like dependency management.

Lenya 2.2 uses Maven. I'm using Cocoon 2.2 and Maven for a project at the moment; it has some advantages but IMO it can become pretty tricky, especially when 3rd-party version incompatibilities occur.

Best regards,
Andreas
