Two separate issues here:
1) The user wasn't subscribed to user list, so his email wasn't delivered there
but instead sat in the moderation queue
2) The email importer wasn't running because of permission issues on the server:
/home/rambo/tools/post2user: line 2: /usr/local/bin/http_post_mda.php:
Permission denied
Both are resolved now.
