Today nothing has been working as it should with the neo4j-server. The mailing lists have been down, and trac have been behaving weird at times.
The reason for this has been that we have upgraded the server for these services. The need for this came from the spamming of the bug tracker yesterday. In order to install a good spam filter in trac we needed to upgrade to trac version 0.11. And in order to do this we had to upgrade a lot of stuff on the server. Apparently the upgrade of Python failed, but not in a way so that it was visible to us at first, and trac (which runs on python) actually worked fine. But a lot of other things broke, such as mailman, the system the manages the e-mail lists.
