Don't forget that Neo4J can also run as an embedded graph database, where it
is SUBSTANTIALLY more performant and much more flexible to utilize than via
the REST API.

Subject: [SPAM] [Neo4j] Newbie: Using Neo4j server

Hello everyone!

I'm evaluating neo4j for a new project where a graph
database would be a better fit than a traditional relational db.

We (our company) favor using the server over embedding.

Looking at the docs, some questions arise:

1. Is the REST API the only way to use the server?

2. Is the REST API ready for production usage?

3. Is there a higher level API to access the REST
server than described here:

http://components.neo4j.org/neo4j-examples/snapshot/server-rest-api.html

4. Is there a "standard" style/examples to bridge the gap
between database and business logic? (daos?)

Thank you for your time and consideration!

Regards,
Stefan Lang
