Hi Alfredas, yes the parallel universe is that you are looking at an older fork of the examples repository by Thomas Risberg.
The only valid examples repo is here: http://github.com/SpringSource/spring-data-graph-examples That should also be mentioned in the reference docs. Thomas actually updated the package names, but only in the official examples, I'll ask him to remove the old repo to avoid confusion.
