Hi Jessica,

Unfortunately I did not find a solution for this problem yet. I did find a
bugreport for m2eclipse however about the proxy settings not being used in
the m2eclipse. It seems to be a Maven Embedder problem.

Currently I run the mvn [goal] command from within eclipse by manually
defining a 'Program' External tool. This works for now but we are
experiencing some difficulties in keeping the eclipse self-compiled
classes and the maven compiled classes in sinc. It seems as if eclipse is
not getting all of its information (like where to place compile error
markers etc.) from the compile output location.

You can find the bugreport about the proxy problems at
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MNGECLIPSE-29

With kind regards / Met vriendelijke groet,
Thijs Volders.

Hi Thijs,

I have exactly the same problem as you - Maven 2 called from the command
line works, the Eclipse plugin doesn't. The plugin can't load the needed
maven plugins.

Did you found a solution or an explication for this problem?

Greetings,
Jessica
