Sorry; the LibCopy plugin is a hack to automatically create "symlinks"
(linked resources) for Eclipse libraries inside a user-specified folder. Its
main use case is enabling WTP to "see" m2eclipse-managed libraries.

http://blogs.unixage.com/blojsom/blog/adam.kruszewski/eclipse/2006/05/02/Maven2-Eclipse-plugin-with-latest-WTP-from-callisto-update-site.html?page=comments

I browsed m2eclipse 0.0.10's "list of fixes" and I see that WTP integration
is not listed, so I understand that the answer to my question is "no".
Right. There is nothing specific for WTP.
You can also vote/comment on this issue for Eclipse WTP project:

128851: [modulecore] To support classpath containers in J2EE Module dependency
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=128851

and/or bug libcopy author to contribute patches for m2eclipse...

 regards,
 Eugene
