Without having more information, it's going to be hard to tell. Check that your project layout matches the Maven defaults - i.e. /src/main/java for the source files - or that you have overridden the defaults in your POM. That seems the most obvious possibility. Otherwise, you could post your POM and your project layout so we can take a look.
