I'm sure I'm not the first one to run across this, but about half the
time I add a new dependency to the pom, the plugin goes into an
(usually) infinite loop downloading the new dependency:

Sometimes it stops after a while, but more often than not, I end up
having to kill the process and restart Eclipse.
I'm using the development version from "update-dev".
Also, I don't know if this is related, but I've noticed that the lucene
indexes sometimes get hosed and appear to cause something similar.
Re-indexing the repository usually fixes that.
