Well to answer my own question, despite the pom.xml having only a
single version of each jar, there were actually multiple versions of
the .jars in my web-inf/lib folder. Looks like something is majorly
mucked up.
I'm going to start with a fresh version of eclipse and 0.93 of
m2eclipse and start over I think.
