EAR packaging is currently not supported. It should not be too hard to
implement, we just were not sure how used it was.
Can you please open enhancement request about EAR support in JIRA [1]?
Please provide sample project and explanation of expected behaviour so
we can scope this feature better.

Without deeper analysis, it would say, that there should also be a
"Maven Dependencies" entry in the J2EE Module List (similar as for
WAR-projects), but I haven't seen one, and I'm afraid that it not the
whole picture....
