Hello, Dan.
Right now m2eclipse is expected to copy/filter resources whenever any of
the files in resource folders change and during full eclipse build.
m2eclipse does not copy/filter resources when pom.xml files change, but
it is not supposed to delete anything from output folders either.
Does this match behaviour that you see? If not, please open a bugreport
in JIRA [1] and provide sample project(s) and steps to reproduce the
problem there.
Do you think m2eclipse should execute full/clean eclipse build whenever
pom.xml file changes? We decided against this for performance reasons,
but I am not sure how big actual performance impact is going to be.

I've noticed that m2eclipse isn't always copying my resources to the
classes directory, and hence my tests fail when I run them from the IDE
because my configurations can't be found on the classpath. This
typically happens right after I change the pom. It can be resolved by
cleaning the project.
Anyone else noticed this? I'm using the snapshots.
