I just filed a JIRA issue for this at Eugene's request.

      http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MNGECLIPSE-849

In the meantime, here is the work around.

1. Right click on the project on which you want to run Maven.
2. Under the "Run As..." Menu, you will see an option "Maven Build...", this will bring up the Edit Configuration dialog 3. In this dialog, you'll see a number of options: if you add "-N" before any goals, the -N command line is going to make its way into the command-line options

This is a work-around which you can use until the next release. You'll be able to click a checkbox in the next release - "non- recursive".

How does one add command lines arguments to maven when it is run from Eclipse? I would like to have a build configuration that uses the -N argument when I build my parent project so I can install the parent pom without building the sub-projects.

Thanks,
Stan
