Hi,
We can't install m2eclipse from ganymede for timeout when we have slow
connection or use proxy.Exactly,this is due to the p2 update manager of
ganymede.There is one thread to discuss this topic before,and open a
JIRA issue,http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MNGECLIPSE-858.
You can install m2eclipse forllow this steps before provide archived
download update site.
1). Remove the p2 update manager and use the classic update
manager.please reference http://wiki.eclipse.org/Equinox_p2_Removal
2). Use the classic update manager to install m2eclipse from official
update site.
3). Check out the update sources from svn.
The update dev is recommended to test the m2eclipse new feature and help
improve it,
the update dev svn location is :
http://svn.sonatype.org/m2eclipse/site/update-dev
4). Install from classic update manager with local site.
I installed successful with this,I hope this is useful for you also.
