No. The regular resource folders are explicitly expressed by Maven
project model. More over, some plugins can add such folders to the model
dynamically (e.g. modello, jaxb, xdoclet, xbeans, etc).
My problem is that I am trying to deploy a WAR using WTP, but I have
some generated-resources that have to go to the root of the war, and
not to WEB-INF/classes.
Can you see a solution to this case?
Not out of the top of my head. However you can submit an enhancement
request and attach sample test project that can be used to reproduce and
investigate this issue. Then we could look at it.
