Arnaud,
Issue with central is different. Some time ago there was a broken
index published on central and you might have picked it up, so further
updates from central won't work unless you clean index manually (there
is an open jira issue for that).
So, you can, for example, remove entry for central index from Maven
Indexes view and it will be recreated for you after you restart Eclipse.
Alternatively you can remove folder
<workspace>\.metadata\.plugins\org.maven.ide.eclipse\nexus\central while
Eclipse is not running, then when you start Eclipse again, update for
central should work.
