You don't need to manually declare source folders for maven projects in
eclipse. m2e is supposed to automatically configure eclipse source and
class path based on information in pom.xml during maven project import.
You can also force m2e to update eclipse project configuration from
pom.xml by running (right-click) Maven->Update Project Configuration action.
