Sorry, that's my fault, what's in the site.xml is right. My Tycho
automation is not synced up 100% with the plugin that produces the
update site that I produce.
What is in there is right.

Can someone please confirm the version stamp for the official 0.9.7
release?
I am behind a proxy and when I force refresh using a web browser
I see
this
version stamp:
0.9.7.200902090947
Since the m2eclipse 0.9.7 release was announced on 11 Feb 2009,
shouldn't
I
see 20090211 instead of 20090209?
Based on previous advice from Eugene I did a force refresh with a
web
browser because our proxy cache was still holding onto the 0.9.6
version

Are you behind a proxy? You can try to force it to reload update
site
descriptors by loading the following urls in a web browser:
http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/update/site.xml
http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/update/artifacts.xml
http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/update/content.xml
======================================
In addition I don't see a tag for this latest release in the
Sonatype
subversion repository:
http://svn.sonatype.org/m2eclipse/tags/
The last tag in there is 0.9.7.200811301804
TIA

Hi,
Instead of making you wait for me to work on release notes I
will let
you guys take the release now. The new release is at the standard
update site:
http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/update/
I will follow up with some documentation on the error submission
mechanism, POM refactoring support, and WTP support. I will also
follow up with a note to the list about the transition to the
new lead
of the m2e project, and Rich is going to be blogging about our
testing
infrastructure.
Just a note that this is the first release where we battled
through
setting up a lot of automated testing where the release was
staged and
Rich ran a battery of tests against the staged release. While we
are
transitioning to this mode of operation there will likely be some
hiccups but overall we expect the quality of the m2e to rise
dramatically over coming months toward the push to 1.0.
So enjoy the release for now. More doco later today and
tomorrow. I'll
do a wider announcement as well but I don't want to keep users
waiting.
Thanks,
Jason

Our achievements speak for themselves. What we have to keep track
of are our failures, discouragements and doubts. We tend to forget
the past difficulties, the many false starts, and the painful
groping. We see our past achievements as the end result of a
clean forward thrust, and our present difficulties as
signs of decline and decay.
