Jason,
Besides what people looking for, it would make sense to test the
package by pointing installer UI to your update site archive and/or
unpacked content of the archive and see if you can install it that way.
Another thing you want to take into consideration is that by
publishing archived update site you will open a door for multiple
installations that won't be reflected in the project download stats.
