Hi there, Newbie here.
I've kind of gotten the Sharepoint connector working with Active Directory and a Sharepoint 2010 server. But I don't understand how the pieces fit together. I understand that I'm supposed to install a plugin on my Sharepoint 2010 server, and I've done that, and it gives me a new port to use. But what does that mean exactly? It seems like an entire new Sharepoint. For example, if I log in to Sharepoint using that new port, and I create a new Sharepoint "site", it only shows up when I use that port, and not when I use my default port 80. So, what is this new port for exactly? Do I use it when I setup my Server setting in ManifoldCF? I can crawl and pull down documents at either port, so what is the plugin doing for me?
