Hi Lalit,
The ManifoldCF query parser plugin only has the option of generating a
filter query from incoming arguments. It does not have the option of
replacing the incoming arguments:

It is Solr that decides whether an fq argument you pass overrides a
queryparser's plugin output. I can't change how that works.
For what you are trying to do, you may do better by using the MCF search
component instead, since that modifies the whole query, rather than just
the fq field.
