Hi , We are using Metron and trying out some of the features. First of all, the way it interconnects with Hadoop ecosystem is too good. We could find out the data flowafter some days working on it. 1. We are using 1,2,3,4,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,14. We are mainly focussing on Maas. 2. Spark integration can be very useful especially if we prefer to use Maas. AlertsUI can be enhanced with more features like some ticketing system. Initially we faced issues in set up and finally figured out using Ambari it's easier to set up ,as cloud deployment failed because of Ansible. For setting up Metron using ambari we need RPM/Deb packages and mpack. So it would be great if you can add that in repo . It would save lot of time for initial set up. It would be very useful if you could provide documentation on using MaaS, and on how big data ecosystem are integrated. It would be great if you could advise on the configuration required. Also if documents get updated for integrating new data source it would be very useful. 3. Metron streaming enrichment, pcap, profiler,MaaS,rest APi are core features we are focusing on Metron. 4. Yes , would be very happy to be involved in the project.
