Hi,
first of all I want to introduce myself as a new one to this list. I am also
quite new to linux. So no perfect here... But still I got a running apache,
e-mail and ftp server running. I think I should be able to handle midgard too.
Here is my problem:
I have SUSE 7.0 and installed the midgard packet that came with it(which is
version 1.2.5 as shown on apache start page). Then when I tried to access
midgard with localhost:8099 or ..:8101 I simply got the apache default start
page. Hm something is wrong. On my mac client I once got a midgard admin page
with 192.168.0.99:8101 and then later I did not get it... Hm strange...
Now I tried to install the new version (1.4) When I came to the data package
the installdb failed: cannot loggin with [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I think I should uninstall 1.2.5 first and then try it from scratch.
I do not like configure/make etc. can I use on of the binaries
(Mandrake/RedHat)? And if, which?
