Could you list details about that machine (OS, glibc, glib, expat versions, etc)?

Yes, CVS version always fresher than release on. You should reinstall
midgard-lib completely in order to use new repligard code. Make sure
to reinstall /usr/share/midgard-lib/repligard.xml too because it was
changed.
