OK, some steps further, but still not finished ;-):
I now compiled the midgard-php3 successfully. It is possible to load the
mod_modgard and libphp3-midgard.so.

configured -- resuming normal operations
BUT then the whole apache doesn't work anymore. The client says that the
"server ist busy", but unfortunately I have no informative log messages in the
error_log or access_log.
What Is a good debug strategy from here?
