Strange things happen to my midgard.
1. I can create users, but cannot add them to groups. What happens is,
that creation goes smoothly, then I
edit the login information and then I try to add a group and select the
new user to the group. After I submit the group is created but error is
returned "Cannot create member[x]. Access denied." And no group members
get defined. I tried both asgard and admin. Asgard returns the error and
admin just pretends
everything is fine.
2. I try to use mgd_auth_user to get authentication and cannot login as
anyone other then admin. The process is that I have code-init element
defined
and I create new users, give them logins and passwords and try to auth
them
on my site. For some reason mgd_auth_user fails for everybody except the
admin.
My system config:
Slackware 7.1 ( updated almost to -current )
Apache 1.3.19 ( from .tgz )
PHP 4.0.4pl1 ( from .tgz )
midgard-lib-1.4.1-5
midgard-php4-1.4.1-7
mod_midgard-1.4.1-5
midgard-data-1.4.1-5
No sitegroups and no pagelinks. Tried to recompile with sitegroups, same
results.
