URGENTLY need at LEAST some actual tarballs that include the fixes for
the various compile etc. problems. This would be enough, as long as
there is no stable status for V1.4x - THEN we need binaries for the
main dists.
There are more and more user requests in the list concerning help for
just the basic install steps. A bugfix for those things would
- hopefully- decrease traffic here and give all of you more time
for the in-depth-development stuff ... And we "non-experts" could
go and get some expertise and do translations etc. - which in
turn may be helpful for future support ..
