I had the same prob with suse 7.1 Unfortunately, there is no php-devel
on Suse. Maybe they forgot it or this is a Suse bug (their rpm
re-naming is sometimes very strange!) Best bet is to install php 4.x
from the source- then you have all include/*.h files you need for the
midgard installation.
Next recommendation: use the midgard CVS version, which includes some
php4-related fixes, not the (older) tarballs.
