Greetings! Just to let you guys know what is coming, we have recently moved here at Nemein into using Repligard for two-way replication between our laptops and a central server.
This means that everybody has the up-to-date Intranet and code data available for also offline usage, and the system is updated both ways whenever the laptop is connected to the Internet. This was accomplished by some Perl scripting and automated Midgard dumps using Cron. What we are going to now is to clean up the scripts to be more generic, and type some basic documentation, and then release them to the Midgard community. BTW. This means that all of our information systems except financial administration and email are now offline-usable. While the former might be difficult, the latter should be doable.
