Greetings! I did a Midgard 1.4.3-RC2 installation with Nadmin Studio M5 (latest-ever) yesterday. Nadmin Studio's version of Midgard 1.4.1 came patched with some additional calendaring functions that are not present in standard Midgard. Since the calendar is more closely integrated with M5 than earlier Nadmin Studio releases this causes some problems.
The right-hand frame is always loaded from the same page as Nadmin Studio's front page. Nadmin M5 includes some calendaring event listings on that page. Since the HKLC's patched calendaring functions are missing, this causes the page to raise some PHP warnings (from eval()'d code snippets). Because of the warnings, the page always displays the Nadmin front page with warnings included, and fails to redirect to actual Preview or Edit pages. Possible fixes for this would be to either install the calendaring functions patch, or to downgrade Nadmin to and Nadmin Studio 1.4.1 release. What I did was downgrading to Nadmin release 20011228, which is the latest edition of the 1.4.1 series, with additions of centralized image gallery and symlink articles. To make this easier, it would be good if the packages for that release were available on cms.polarmedia.no/midgard On a related note, the installation of 1.4.3-RC2 on RH 7.3 was the smoothiest I've yet seen with Midgard. All packages compiled without problems on the distribution's stock Apache, MySQL and PHP versions. Only problem was that Red Hat's stock PHP comes with HTTP file uploads disabled by default. This gave interesting errors with Nadmin Studio's file uploads (call to undeclared function mgd_get_()). Of course it is easy to fix by tweaking php.ini and restarting Apache. However, this is not really apparent from Nadmin's error messages. I first suspected some API issue with the PHP release I was using. Other issue I noticed was that currently Repligard exports only the sitegroup object and admingroup object when set to export the sitegroup as resource. /Bergie -- Henri Bergius [EMAIL PROTECTED] Consultant Partner Tel: +358-20-198 6032 Nemein Oy http://www.nemein.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
