Three possible reasons:

  * DB user and password
  * Midgard admin user and password
  * Repligard doesn't find MySQL socket

The last one is a bit tricky, as the MySQL libraries
on some setups lie about the location of the MySQL
socket to applications like repligard.

You should try locating the mysql.sock file from your
filesystem, and create a symbolic link of that file
to the directory where repligard tries to find the
socket from. In my case this directory was /var/lib/mysql
