Recently I have installed midgard 1.4.4 and Aegir 1.0 RC2 and all is working fine as far as I can see.
Although I am wondering about the redirection reply when I submit an article:
‘Article has been updatedplease install rcs for this to work’
How I should install RCS?
Article updates fine but there is also no revision information on the article and comes up with the same response: ‘please install rcs for this to work’
Either RCS is not installed on the system (which would be weird since I think it's installed by default almost everywhere) or Apache cannot find/execute it.
How to remedy it depends on the specifics of the installation (what OS/Distribution, whether RCS is not installed or it cannot be found/executed, how Apache is configured [could offer insight on why RCS woulnd't be found if it's installed], etc).
