[midgard-user] problems installing Midgard 1.5

Hi all,

I've installed midgard several times and am now trying my hand at 1.5.

I've got:
Mysql 4.01
PHP 4.3.2
Apache 1.3.24
Mod_midgard-1.5

all installed successfully I believe.

I can run php code and using infophp i can see mod_midgard.

My problem is with trying to get midgard-php-1.5 running.

I can compile fine. but if I enable extension=midgard.so

Apache segfaults.

I've recompiled several times.

I did a debug session with gdb and got:

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
_dl_lookup_symbol (undef_name=0x4042bd8d "g_free", undef_map=0x80e1328, ref=0xbfffd22c, symbol_scope=0x80e147c, reloc_type=1,
    explicit=0) at do-lookup.h:80
80      do-lookup.h: No such file or directory.
        in do-lookup.h

But I dont know how to debug  at this level.

One thing I'm not sure about is if I should be using mod_midgard-preparse or mod_midgard

Any ideas?
