I'm serious. I have a used but working 3600 series IPAQ(I recently upgraded to a 5455) to give away.
I'm just that desperate for some answers.
If you take this seriously and help me solve my problems I will ship it to you, no strings.
If you help me but I don't solve my problem I'll still find something to send you, right before I take my own life (just kidding).
Here is the deal:
We have been running 1.4.4 for months with no problems(or relatively little) even with a two machine replication strategy.
Staging machine exports diffs via repligard every 10 minutes.
Live machine pulls via scp the export and imports it.
A was working great until a month or so ago.
At that point my parameters went away on the staging box.
They disappeared. I can't see parameters in aegir or asgard.
They are in the database still and I can add them programmatically.
Database is not corrupt. I've run mysqlcheck several times.
They even are replicating to the live box when added programmatically, but I cant add them via Aegir or Asgard which renders my staging environment pretty useless.
I have even brought the live database back and installed it on the staging server(as a test) and experienced the same problems. ( and then rolled it back to preserve the original config)
So it seems to be a problem with midgard 1.4.4. itself.
OK so why not go to 1.5 you ask....
I've been working on that on another box. It was the hot spare live box.
I've installed Mysql 4.0, the latest apache and php and midgard 1.5 and all need files(except I'm confused about mod_preparse).
Everything compiles with no complaints.
My phpinfo() tells me everything is cool so far at is concerned, but when I try to load Midgard.so in my httpd.conf apache segfaults.
I've send backtraces to the list already, but haven't gotten any answers.

I've got another box I'm try to do a clean redhat 9 install in and use the Skallen RPMS.
That install is successful, but my repligard import of the live 1.4.4 export fails.
What is the best way to go and not risk losing any data I need to import from my LIVE server?
Ideally I would go to 1.5 on all boxes and be using mysql 4.0 to take advantage of query caching.
But at this point I'd be happy just to get my staging box working properly again.
I'm frustrated, confused, fearing for my job and etc.
Please help me and you will be rewarded.
