Thanks Tarjei and Bergie for your informations.
Another question I've got and I didn't find any answer on the Midgard
site: how about content versioning? Does Midgard or Aegir keep a history
of old versions of the same text?

Thanks,
Marianne

Hi, there are a number of ways to do this:

a) You may use midgard to authenticate against a windows domain using
midgard + samba 3.0 (now in rc).
b) I'm writing a system to integrate midgard and ldap on the app-level.
c) There is work happening that will make it possible to use different
datasources in midgard, amongst them, ldap for users and groups. This
will not be done before December I think (I do not know).

We're planning a more completely LDAP integration, but at the moment you
can use the LDAP authentication patch supplied by T Online:
http://bugs.midgard-project.org/view_bug_advanced_page.php?f_id=0000147

With this patch you still have to have the person objects also in the
Midgard database so synchronizing them nightly or something similar
might make sense.
