1) Is register globals on
2) Do PHP sessions work properly
3) Do you accept cookies from the host
4) Is the Aegir host on a FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name, eg host.domain.tld, this should not be a requirement anymore but it certainly helps dubugging to eliminate this point of failure)
