Henri, Yes, this looks like the setup I'm looking for. Did you use something like LVS for the web cluster?
Also, what were the issues relating to database consistency? (e.g. Web server 1 performs an UPDATE on a row that webserver2 is concurrently accessing?) Does Midgard/MySQL automatically keep that from happening? Thanks! /Jim Henri Bergius <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >On Thu, 2003-08-28 at 01:31, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: >> Hi, > >Greetings! > >> A related question about scalability: Can Midgard be set up in the >> following way? > >Here's a clustered setup we did using Midgard and StoneBeat >WebCluster back in March 2001: > http://www.bergie.iki.fi/misc/servers.png > >> /Jim > >/Bergie > >-- >Henri Bergius [EMAIL PROTECTED] >Consultant Partner Tel: +358-20-198 6032 >Nemein Oy http://www.nemein.com/ > >Nemein.Net -- Project tracking solution for consulting companies >http://www.nemein.com/Nemein.Net/ > > >--------------------------------------------------------------------- >To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > __________________________________________________________________ McAfee VirusScan Online from the Netscape Network.
