I'm working through the problem of installing Midgard Lite on a web
server which has not yet been assigned a domain name.

However, the Apache server is replying as if it were actually assigned
a domain name. For the sake of example, let's say the IP address is
192.168.1.100, and the server domain name reported by Apache in its
response headers is www.frootbar.com; the latter name just happens to
be owned by the company which purchased the other IP address.

According to another post, I've seen that it is necessary to put
"www.frootbar.com" into the HOST.NAME table.column in order for
MidgardLite to work. Doing that got the system up, but this is clearly
a hack. The Aegir CMS won't work in this configuration: upon logging
in, it forwards the user to "www.frootbar.com", the "spoofed name"
reported by the Apache header.

I'm going to take up the issue of incorrect headers with the customer
and hosting service. However, it seems that Midgard Lite should work
when given an IP address as the Host.name.
