My workplace runs a webhosting server with a client who has a midgard site.
The midgard blobs have been installed under that particular client's home directory, - eg, /home/client1/blobs.
At the moment, to log in to Aegir I need to enter client1.site.address:80/aegir to be able to logon as System Admin.
The problem is I want to set up another midgard site for another client; say client2; I don't really want to to put stuff belonging to client2 site in the blobs which are under client1's home directory.
I realise I can create a new company in Aegir; I suppose I can I make it log into aegir at their own address, but how can I safely put the blobs under their own directory? Or should the blobs be in a general directory such as /var ?
Do I understand correctly that I only install the midgard data once for all the sites administered by midgard ?
